Pia Brar is a professional DJ, photographer, videographer and multimedia artist based in Goa, India. She is a founding member of femme collective, Coven Code, which works to create safe spaces and opportunities for womxn in the nightlife industry. Read more about them here.

Pia's DJ sets largely showcase female and queer artists in Hip-Hop, Reggae, Afrobeat and Dancehall. She performs regularly in India under the moniker Pia Collada and has played at some of the biggest festivals across the country, including Goa Sunsplash, NH7, Boxout Weekender, and Levi's 501 Day. Pia's creative work focuses on art as activism and is based largely on gender equality and racial justice. This manifests as installations, spoken word, light sculptures, paintings and film - many of which can be found on this website. Pia also views self and community healing to be forms of sacred-activism and periodically facilitates circles focused on yoga, creative movement, art-therapy and Non-Violent Communication (NVC).
